The True Origins Of Cosplay Is Not Consent Spreaded In The Philippine Conventions (Hard Truth)

The True Origins Of Cosplay Is Not Consent Spreaded In The Philippine Conventions

Is it a original cosplay rule from the Philippines or is it a shadow or copy came from the country origin?

The truth behind this golden rule which is made to against mature male Otaku Fans in the Philippines.

But this rule was used to abuse and turn against waifu lovers inside the conventions.

Almost the Anime Fans they protect with this rule was the female Filipino Anime/J-Pop Fans.

Their was a bad side and dark side on this rule, but the problem is, the fake otaku fans was using this to lure and trap the male Otaku Fans away from them. Even some creepers and non-creepers are victims of this rule. Suddenly, some male Otaku Fans has been discriminated by the female cosplayers in the Philippines, due to their Ultra Immaturity and too much uncomfy.

This rule has a controversy, and it is not applicable in other countries except Philippines.

But we gonna reveal which country originates this golden rule of cosplay?

The answer is in the U.S.A. In the US Otaku and Geek Conventions. It was created on 2012 & 2013 by the advocates that wanted to stop sexual harassment and unwanted touching at conventions.

Until it goes on other conventions in US Comic Con in 2014 and to other US Geek and Otaku Cons.

However that rule goes effective until it spreads out, outside the US including the Philippines.

But the truth is, other countries had their cosplay rules, but they never mention the cosplay is not consent. But why the Philippines imitate this? In 2010's they don't have these rules, but they adopt this rule on 2020's after pandemic. The first victim of this rule was a male PWD Otaku Fan.

Because of this rule, Philippines did not originate this rule, it was a shadow or a copy comes from the country origin. They didn't make a original rule in the first place, they borrow it from the origin country. So the Philippine Cosplay rules was not original and you may see, it is only a western rules and it is not an original rules on any of these Philippine Conventions.

Still, the Philippine Cosplay Conventions rely on this US based cosplay rules.

The question is, why the popular Anime Conventions in Asia like the Anime Festival Asia (AFA) in Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore, they had a original rules, cosplay is not consent was never mention. So they did not adapt the US convention rules in Japan Hotspot SEA Country.

Japan did not adapt the US Convention rule, they have their original rules for cosplay conventions.

India had cosplay community, but they don't mention that US Cosplay Convention rules either.

China had their original cosplay rules, but it is different from the other countries, because of their rules to be modest in cosplay and censorship in cosplay outfits of some characters.

Hongkong was either copying China's Cosplay Rules or they have their own.

European Countries have their own cosplay rules, but the US Cosplay rules was not applicable.

Australia and New Zealand has their own cosplay rules on their conventions.

So the Philippines? They use the shadow rules, they use the copied rules to abuse against some male Otaku Fans in the Philippines. This is why there is no original rules for cosplay.

They didn't make one for our own, they borrow it from US, and they adapt it here. Now it will be too bad, if some other males had been used by the concerned cosplayers, the victim of this rule will be mocked by the concerned congoers and cosplayers, even if you are not doing bad to some Filipino cosplayers. However, they gonna made you viral in public and mock you.

Philippine cosplay rules should not have this US based cosplay rules. They gonna stand by it's own mind, not borrowing to other's idea to make it as your own. A shadow and a copy of the Philippine cosplay rule was no use. It repeats, it hurts to someone else who dosen't do anything bad.

Cosplay is not a weapon to attack the feelings of male Filipino Otaku Fans. Cosplay is not a separate group of Otaku Community, it should be one together. Cosplay is not only prioritizes female Filipino Anime/J-Pop Fans who cosplays any characters of some Anime and others.

And the real truth is Philippines should make original cosplay rules to stand on it's own.

So STOP using these excuses to avoid male Filipino Otaku Fans and waifu lovers.

So STOP using a shadow or a copy comes from the country origin, it is not ours.

What rules we make is not a shadow, not a copy, not a borrowed ones.

Cosplay rules was not meant to be weaponized to kick the male Otaku Fans out of the cons.

So stand up and not to do that kind of shadow and copy rules to the Philippines again.
